David F. Smith, born in Hoboken, raised in Jersey City & lives in Montclair, New Jersey, the author the novels (Dying Of A Light & Total Control Volume One, The Infiltration), his third book SMITH’S QUICK GUIDE-THE TURNING MUSIC INTO A BUSINESS ‘MANUAL’ is now available through Barnes & Noble. Smith has been nominated for a Pulitzer and received Awards including Best Urban Novel & first of his generation to tackle Espionage in fiction. Honored and appointed the title of one of the truest intellectual voices of the Hip-Hop Generation Smith is a true Renaissance Man ! He studied biology at Hampton University and Hazardous Materials Investigations at UMDNJ ( University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey) School of Public Health. He has an Honors Degree in Legal Research from Essex County College, studied Public Purchasing at Rutgers University and is a State of New Jersey Certified Quailfied Public Purchasing Agent. Smith founded OmniWorld-Media, which combines writing , film , music and Fashion in 2006. He designs and constructs clothing, handbags, shoes and belts, studying under his mentor 'RAFAEL' as an apprentice before venturing independently. He is now taking the film world by storm with intense script writing and directing, while continuing to progress in the literary universe as well as his other endeavors. David worked with Jazz Great, Gregory Searvance on the musical score for the film and will be debuting his clothing line in his next feature film "MAMBO 2 MAMBO".
